The Mid Mississippi River Folklore, Storytellers & Writers Conference was held in Quincy, Illinois on June 13-15, 2003. The funding for this event was provided by the Illinois Arts Council and the Quincy Society of Fine Arts. The conference was held at Quincy University and John Wood Community College. The conference concluded at Christ Lutheran on Sunday morning where there was a sharing of stories from different religions and beliefs.
